ENKOLILI COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATION
Enkolili Community Based Organization is a local Community Based Organization (CBO) in Kenya. It is located in Maili Tisa, 130 kilometers from Nairobi along Namanga road. It was registered in 2022 under section 10 of the NGO Coordination ACT
The primary purpose of Enkolili Community Based Organization is to empower women and children in the Maasai pastoral community to identify and achieve their own development initiatives and promote decision making.
The organization’s development approach is based on participation, women empowerment, local capacity building/training, gender equality, advocacy, sustainability and accountability. The organization considers the development of strong linkages with the community as a priority in the attainment of its Programmatic and organizational goals.
The organization has extensively been involved in child protection and women empowerment in Kajiado County. The interventions anchor around child rights advocacy and women empowerment.
